From San Diego International Airport, plan on roughly 20–30 minutes by car depending on traffic.
If you're driving in for an event, arrive before the afternoon convention rush — the bayfront has one main approach and it backs up when sessions let out. Bringing a bike is genuinely a good call: the Bayshore Bikeway runs along the water and connects north toward National City and south toward Imperial Beach.
