‼️Amazing Food Post Alert ‼️ Location : Chula Vista We visited this restaurant for Sunday Lunch. This place serves amazing Birria, (a Mexican dish , basically a meat stew or soup traditionally made from goat meat. The meat is marinated in an adobo made of vinegar, dried chiles, garlic, and herbs and spices before being cooked in a broth). The hand made fresh tortillas are the perfect companion. To dip hand-made tortillas stuffed with the seared goat meat, onions and cilantro into the Birria was mouth-watering. Fresh cilantro, onion and lime brought to your table. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !! We also ordered the Modelo beer, ice, lime and refescos Mexicanos to complement the meals. Do yourself a favor and stop in. in for birria and left mostly satisfied, which is really the baseline goal of any meal. We ordered the quesatacos, both beef and goat, because if you’re at a birreria you’re supposed to try the goat at least once in your life. The beef quesataco was the clear winner. Rich, savory, good cheesy pull, and the consommé did its job. No complaints there. That one hits. The goat, however, was… an experience. Not bad, just different. Stronger flavor, a little funky, and definitely an acquired taste. I’m glad I tried it. I’m also glad I don’t need to try it again. If you love goat, you’ll probably be happy. If you’re on the fence, start with beef. My wife ordered the carnitas and honestly might have ordered the best thing at the table. Wow, just wow. This restaurant has one of the best menudo I have ever had, very flavorful and some of the tripe pieces are thick and the pieces are perfect and they serve a good amount of corn and tripe with the menudo. Service was good! Definitely would come back!

Good birria, I tried the birria de res ( beef birria) and quesadilla. Hand made tortillas. Authentic birria Guadalajara style. They have pick hours, be prepared to wait.

Menudo rojo con pata and taco de carnitas mixto y dos cafes de olla GREAT FOOD! I wasn’t even expecting it to be as good as it was.
