If I could give this a negative or minus stars I would because even one star is too high. Yesterday, 6-25-26 at 3:40pm PT, I went to Carl’s Jr. Store 409 located at 695 H Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910 and had a horrible experience. Initially, I went to the Drive-Thru and they didn’t give me a receipt for the $50.29 I paid. My order was not ready so they had me wait in the parking lot for a long time for only two combo meals. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I tried to enter the restaurant, but, couldn’t because the door was boarded up with wood (and so were two windows) so I had to go around the long way. As I entered the restaurant, the interior of the restaurant was extremely unsanitary. The interior of the wood-boarded windows was right beside the eating areas. I paid for a large strawberry shake. I paid for my order and start exiting and took a picture of what they gave me. They put no whip cream in the dome and steal 30% of the milkshake for the whip cream. I got 70% shake, 30% whip cream where the shake was supposed to be and an empty dome. I paid a lot of money for a Large shake that they are basically only filling up 70% and putting a dome on top that doesn’t even have whip cream filling it, why? Because they give you the whip cream inside the cup where the shake is supposed to be…. They charge you for a large but really you’re not getting a large. I added a picture before I even tried the shake to show just how far below the cup they are missing in shake… not cool. This has happened twice so far at this location. I can’t trust this location anymore. The shake looks nothing like the pictures of their shakes filled to the top of the cup. I

always a pleasure. great staff compared the McDonald's workers down the street. these people actually still treat you with respect and the quality is made with care. extra hot and fresh. also one of the cashier ladies with the glasses that's short is awesome

I just went through the drive-thru and the male employee who helped me was very kind and professional. However, while waiting for my food, I witnessed a female employee filling a black personal water container at the soda fountain, and the inside of her container was touching the soda dispenser nozzle. This was extremely unsanitary and concerning to see in a food service environment. Management should address this immediately, properly train employees on sanitation and food safety protocols, and ensure health standards are being followed at all times. Situations like this are unacceptable and can create serious hygiene concerns for customers. Very disappointed.

It took 35 minutes just for me to get my order taken. I was waiting for 10 minutes standing in front of the counter without even being paid attention to. To try to make it easier for both me and the employees, I downloaded the mobile app and had trouble paying for my meal, so then I had to get back in line and wait another 10 minutes. I’m also disappointed that getting waffles fries costs extra now. I live Carls Jr but this experience was frustrating
