Been wanting to try this place out.. I really liked the kitchen setup.. really nice show kitchen that you can see from the street also. The tacos are good , very fresh and good size. The tortillas are outstanding. We tried a good mix of different tacos . The salsas that are set on your table were flavorful and fresh...The restaurant is a very nice space. I would have to say the really standouts were the staff and there superior customer service. They didn't miss a beat.. you can see and tell they pride themselves on steps of service and making sure there guests have excellent time and dinner

Would highly recommend it. It tastes delicious, the vibe is fun and family based. The employees are very friendly, highly efficient, proactive, professional, and knowledgeable of their food. We wanted to see Canelo, and would definitely return.

As a local, among all the taco places I tried in San Diego, I’m certain that this place is the best. Don’t want to compare specifically here with other famous taco places in SD, but this place is the most similar to tacos I tried in Mexico. The tacos were made with extremely fresh ingredients and they were super tasty. Service is also very good! FYI, I went there in a perfect time like 4pm and there was so wait, but I saw the line was getting long when we existed around 5pm. Controversially, I personally have thought SD does not actually that many good taquerias (I think LA is much better) but I’m glad I finally found a very good one here

The food was amazing! All the food came out hot, fresh, and fast. Luis was our server today and his service was phenomenal! It was our first time dining here and he recommended various items such as the pastor lonchecito and pan de elote which we enjoyed very much. We would not have ordered those items without his recommendation. My favorite items that we ordered were the lengua and carnaza tacos. Overall, the food was excellent and we would be coming back for Luis and his extraordinary hospitality!
