My first and last....Never ever come to this restaurant 😒. I ordered sisig, lechon, bulaklak, and fried chicken. $70; when I received the food, it was in 3 small containers and a medium box of fried chicken. the portion was the size of my hand. I'm so upset

“For $32 (beef bulalo) I was expecting a hearty soup. Instead, I received a modest bowl with a few stray vegetables and a hint of meat—hardly enough for one person, let alone the 3–4 it supposedly serves. Unless those people are on a liquid diet, the portion size is laughable. A truly bold pricing strategy for such a minimal offering.” “When we pointed out that the soup had almost no meat, the staff helpfully took it back—only to return with the meat separated from the broth, as if to prove the portion was sufficient. Unfortunately, separating the ingredients only made it more obvious how little there was. For $32, you’d expect more than a few scraps of meat and a thin broth. They claim it serves 3–4 people; maybe if those people aren’t particularly hungry. A creative approach to customer service, but not one that changes the facts.” This restaurant is grossly overpriced and completely

🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers. The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. Oh and they have some beer too! Philippino type beer of course which was pretty awesome, I had a nice lager that went well with my food. Very clean and well organized restaurant across the board. Will be coming back for sure ..! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Max's Restaurant instantly took me back to the Philippines with every bite. The flavors were just as I remembered from dining at Max's back home. From the rich, savory Laing to their iconic ‘sarap-to-the-bones’ fried chicken, each dish made me feel like I was right back in the Philippines.

Amazing. Delicious. Outstanding. The words that best describe this restaurant. The food was fresh, hot and served on time. From the moment you walk in you feel like family. Fantastic customer service. Everything from the Crispy Pata to the soup named Bulalo. The Lumpia Appetizers were hot. The sauce divine. Great place to eat. Make the time to enjoy this place.
