Jason· 3 months agoWhat sets this Filipino restaurant apart is that they make their tocino from scratch, and you can definitely taste the difference. The flavor is authentic, fresh, and not overly sweet like some pre-made versions. The restaurant is also very clean and well-kept, making for a comfortable dining experience. On top of that, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to make customers feel at home. If you’re looking for authentic Filipino food made with care, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back to try more of their menu! Come Wednesday and Thursday, they have dinakdakan.
Grace Lee· a year agoFirst time here and Philippino food. Loved, loved, and loved it. Very nice and sweet owner. They even let us taste some samples. BBQ chicken and lumpia were so tasty! Sisig was pork belly, something very crispy but tender at the sametime. You've got to try some.
Queen Sam· 4 years agoSmall, Filipino restaurant located in Eastlake in the same business plaza as vons, baskin robbins, chipotle and arbys. The food is so authentic and the flavor is amazing, but there are so many bone and fatty skin pieces in their chicken adobo. Pansit and longanisa was good as well. They offer combination plates, at a good price. Plus we bought authentic snacks. Average customer service. Reasonable prices.
Lauren B· a year agoNever knew there were so many filipino restaurants in this area. I'm all the way in encinitas so where I am there's only one really good place and another that I know of in san marcos. I have to come back and try different dishes next time to see if my review changes. I'd love to try the milk fish and aroz caldo. I just had the chicken and rice which was good and more than enough for portion sizes. I got two sides and had I know how big the side would have just got one. In the picture I had already ate a few pieces of chicken. I also bought a bag of pandisal not sure how you spell just grew up having it but it was a great price and tasted great.
Chris Aguilar· 12 months agoThe food was good. Had a group thing for church and I picked up a platter of pancit and lumpia. The lumpia was great but the pancit was lacking meat and vegetables. I'll have to try again sometime to see if it was just a one off.
