I found a fingernail and an avocado peel in my food. I went back for a full refund for all the food I purchased for my family. The young girl operating the cash register/window was instantly combative refusing to refund the full amount because I didn't bring everything back. I was a regular customer who would come here 2-3 times a month, and now I will never be back.

California burrito cooked well done. It appears someone took a bite out of my burrito before it was packaged. 1st time writing a review, congrats, you earned it.

This burrito is a joke man, ordered the bacon egg and cheese, more tortilla then anything, it’s always the same cook too, whoever makes them is not making them right or Roberto’s is just losing there taste, I can go to cotijas and get a breakfast burrito for the same price and they actually give sour cream and the burrito is not as dry and not filled with nothing but tortillas, but I keep coming back because well its “Roberto’s” how much more San Diego can it get. My family has been coming here for years, my uncle even knew “baby” one of the owners. On top of that prices have gone up, I get it inflation but damn sometimes I feel like I’m getting robbed for money because of the quality of the food. All im saying is hopefully you guys can get back to making good food again and it actually being worth it to buy😐

Just wasn’t that good. Horchata tastes bad. The food is aright. Prices are crazy for the taste. Just wouldn’t go here. Better spots in national and chula. Great thing about them is they’re open 24/7 so if you need food late at night I guess come here but if you’re looking to eat, maybe look somewhere else.

I really expected an unforgettable experience here especially knowing it’s been open for many years and had such a great reputation in the past. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing.😔 The quality of the food was quite poor, although it was affordable. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. And I was surprised by how bland everything tasted. The beans in particular seemed to have no salt at all. it was as plain as it could be. I just hope they can improve the quality of their food because this place clearly has potential.
