This is a must stop spot!! Our family visits every time we come to San Deigo! 10/10 recommended. Chefs kiss are the gourmet chicken or fish tacos.

I tried this restaurant for the first time because I had seen an advertisement on social media and really wanted to try their fish and chips. I was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant has really good food, the environment was pleasant with decent fellow patrons. I will be going back to try different dishes! Their prices are reasonable and the food is good. I recommend it. This particular location is part of an outdoor strip mall. So, parking is not specific to the restaurant. You’d have to drive around to find parking.

I have gone to this same Rubios 3 times, and each time has been an incredible experience. I didn’t consider Rubio’s a place where I would have an “experience” lol, but this particular one leaves me telling everyone about it. The place is always incredibly clean and well kept. I’ve never had such great customer service from a counter service restaurant in my life. I’ve only ever come on Monday evenings, after I finish teaching. I usually cook from home but this is a night where I just don’t have the time and I have to feed everyone in my house IMMEDIATELY. I’m always greeted by the same man (Never remember his name. Sorry! The way he presents himself is store manager. If he’s not, he should be). Each time he has gone above and beyond to help and makes me feel welcome (in a very professional way, not in a creepy way lol). The food is always fresh and portion sizes are incredible for the pr

Victor is always so welcoming with his greeting of "Welcome to Rubio's!" as soon as you walk in the door! I have mostly ordered to go from this location and they always have my food ready on time. The temperature is always just right, and the portions great. This is a great location and I enjoy having the salmon and grilled shrimp dishes from here.

Tacos were perfectly prepared! The beans and corn were warm and fresh. The staff were great, I saw them fill napkin and clean up when they were done with the order taking....they are great workers. These are most like some of the reason why you are super busy and I still come and wait in line. Thank you!
