Official rules

The official rules for our monthly free gas giveaway and contributor rewards program.

Sponsor and promotion

Contributors create a free account, verify their email, and submit original local photos or videos.
Submissions enter Pending Review. An administrator must approve content before gas entries are awarded.
Approved photos, approved videos, featured content, Photo of the Week selections, milestones and administrator bonus awards each add gas entries for the current entry period.

One winner is selected at random from all eligible gas entries for the entry period using the system's random selection tool, and an internal audit record is stored.
Winning one period does not remove a contributor from future drawings.

[EDITABLE: describe the prize exactly, its approximate retail value, how it is delivered (fuel card, gift card, reimbursement, EV charging credit), and any substitution terms.]

Winners are notified through the private message centre in their contributor account.

Public winner announcements show only a display name (or first name and last initial) and city. Contact details are never published.

Submitted content is licensed to us under the Submission Terms, including use on our websites, social media, advertising, marketing and other promotional materials across the Local City Network.

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Reviewer and contributor contact details are never displayed publicly.

Vacation photos, content from another city, downloaded internet images, screenshots, AI-generated images, duplicates, low-quality or blurry images, and content you did not personally create are not accepted.

Accounts may be flagged, suspended or blocked and entries removed for duplicate uploads, mass uploads, multiple accounts, or content that breaches these rules.
